Hello there.
I am Qin Yi, and I am a lettering and typography nerd.
I first learnt to write from my grandmother who does not know the first thing about writing. Together, we completed penmanship exercises by copying letters and characters to a T.
I worked as an art director at a design and publishing firm in Singapore for six years, and I am now pursuing my love for words as a designer and letterer. I have art directed and made books for clients such as Far East Organization, GIC, The Istana, Land Transport Authority, Mapletree, National Gallery Singapore, National Integration Council, Sembcorp and SMU School of Business.
I can be seen making puns and eating breakfast on Instagram stories every day, and my favorite milk is amen milk.
